Earlier this week, an egregious hit-and-run accident occurred in Chicago's 11th District as a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the 4700 block of W Lake St. around 09:00 pm.
As told in an alert from the Chicago Police Department (CPD), the driver evaded the scene, not providing aid or providing accident details to the severely injured pedestrian.
In reaction to this striking hit-and-run incident, the CPD released a description of the involved vehicle: reported as a silver, four-door sedan equipped with a sunroof and tinted windows, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu or Ford Fusion exhibiting front damage. It was last seen traveling eastbound on W Lake St, from the accident scene, fuelling the pursuit to identify the vehicle and its operator.
