32-year-old Jesse Carter was apprehended and charged with one felony count of armed robbery, according to an official statement from the Chicago Police Department (CPD) today.
The arrest followed an incident at a retail store at 700 S. Pulaski Rd., Chicago on October 1st, when Carter allegedly committed a robbery wielding a weapon.
It was reported that the assailant took property from the retail store while armed with a dangerous weapon.
Carter's detention hearing was scheduled for October 3rd at the Cook County Criminal Courthouse.
