This week, on October 26, 37-year-old William Cooksey was arrested and charged with multiple counts of attempted murder, aggravated battery, and unlawful use of a weapon, as reported by the Chicago Police Department.
These charges connect Cooksey with a shooting earlier this year, on January 18, that resulted in a serious injury to a 34-year-old male in the 400 block of E. 95th street in Chicago's 4th District.
The offender is now under police custody. No additional information is available at this time.
