A 28-year-old Chicago man, Thomas Navolt, is facing prosecution for multiple felonies associated with the possession of child pornography. This is his second run-in with the law, the first being his 2019 conviction for similar charges, as cited by the Chicago Sun-Times.
Navolt was brought back under the purview of the legal system when, during a parole check, he was discovered violating parole terms by possessing electronic devices. A further investigation revealed the devices to have child pornography, resulting in Navolt's subsequent arrest, as stated by Fox 32 Chicago.
He now faces charges of possession, solicitation, and reproduction of child pornography. Additionally, due to a victim who was under 13, Navolt now confronts a more severe charge. Navolt had been paroled in May 2022, after a five-year prison sentence, as mentioned in the same Chicago Sun-Times article.
Navolt is now awaiting trial.
