
Yesterday, Chicago police apprehended and charged a 24-year-old Thomas Harris for aggravated discharge of a firearm at a 42-year-old woman. The details of which are available in a Chicago Police Department report.
Police documents indicate that Harris's capture resulted from the Chicago Police Department and the Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force's joint efforts. The violent episode with the woman took place on May 22, 2023, at around 1:45 p.m. on the 9400 block of S. Burnside Ave., where Harris allegedly fired shots towards her. This triggered an investigation, leading, eventually, to Harris's arrest at the 7600 block of S. East End Ave.
Harris is set to face his detention hearing today, at 2600 S. California in Chicago.
