Early today, an incident of gun violence transpired involving a 45-year-old man who came under fire as he inspected noises outside his residence.
The Chicago Police Department reports that unidentified individuals shot the man and escaped in a black sedan.
The man, suffering gunshot wounds on his right hip and knee, was urgently transported to Trinity Hospital. He is currently in critical condition.
While no suspects have been apprehended, Area Two detectives are investigating the case actively.
