On Sunday, October 1st, a serious incident of armed robbery took place at the Green Line Cottage Grove stop in Chicago.
As the investigation unfolds, the Chicago Police Department is calling on the public to aid in identifying the offender – an African American male, in his early or mid-twenties.
According to a report by the Chicago Police Department, the robbery was violent, with the offender not only stealing the victim's cash but also assaulting them physically to the point of slashing the victim's face with a knife.
