
Early yesterday, a 16-year-old girl in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood was critically wounded from a gunshot to the head. Chicago police responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 9:45 a.m. in the 200 block of West 95th Street, as per the Chicago Sun-Times, and found no other injuries.
The victim was immediately transported, following the shooting, to the University of Chicago Medical Center and listed as critical.
As Fox32 Chicago reports, no suspects are in custody as Area 2 detectives continue their investigation.
