On October 4th, 2023, Chicago law enforcement answered to a firearm-related incident in South Cottage. A 21-year-old male was discovered with a chest wound inflicted by a gunshot.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the man, transported to the University of Chicago hospital, was in good condition.
The victim was reported to be uncooperative and refused to answer the officers' questions .
There are no supects at the time and Area One detectives are investigating.
