Following this, they further committed robberies from the hijacked vehicle, victimizing others at gunpoint as well. A subsequent black Subaru Outback hijacking occurred, with the assailants taking additional personal property. All incidents happened between 4:38 a.m. and 6:09 a.m. on September 24, 2023.

Based on the victims' description, the assailants were two to three African American males aged 16-30 years old, attire clad in all black and ski masks. Aside from clothing, they were reported to be armed with rifles and handguns.
