Three armed robberies occurred within fifteen minutes last night in Chicago. As per the Chicago Police Department, all robberies involved a white sedan, multiple assailants armed with rifles and handguns, and victims prioritizing their safety by complying.
The first incident occurred near 10:30 p.m. on the 2300 block of W Thomas, where a 29-year-old male was targeted by four males from a white sedan. After demanding property, they left unscathed in their vehicle, with Area Five detectives assigned to investigate the crime.
Two minutes later, another robbery occurred on the 2900 block of N Albany. Three men were held at gunpoint by four males from a white sedan. Two of the assailants were equipped with rifles and two with handguns, according to Chicago police records. Like the first incident, the victims complied, handed over their possessions and avoided harm. No arrests were made and this case was also assigned to Area Five detectives.
The final incident, just over ten minutes after the second, took place on the 1500 block of W Warren. A female security worker was confronted by four to five males demanding property while displaying rifles and handguns according to Chicago Police Department records. The woman was struck in the face but refused medical assistance. Area Three detectives are investigating this case.
