A 30-year-old was struck by gunfire on the sidewalk of West Grenshaw, Chicago, at approximately 3:47 a.m. this morning as per the Chicago Police Department's report.
The shots fired from an unknown vehicle hit the victim's chest.
The victim was then promptly transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, critically wounded.
As the offender's vehicle fled and no individual has been taken into custody, Area Four detectives continue in their investigation.
