
On Tuesday, October 10, at 7:22 p.m., the Chicago Police Department apprehended 18-year-old Noah Sidney on multiple felony charges.
These include aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm, robbery while armed with a firearm, and resisting a peace officer or correctional employee, detailed in the CPD charge release.
Sidney's arrest occurred in the 4700 block of S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Dr. He is accused of commandeering a vehicle at gunpoint from a 31-year-old male in the 2200 block of N. Seminary Ave.
Within one hour of the alleged crime, Sidney was in police custody.
Today, October 12, 2023, Sidney has a detention hearing scheduled at the courthouse in 2600 S. California.
