On Tuesday, October 3, a routine traffic stop became a significant discovery in Chicopee, Massachusetts. After officers of the Chicopee Police Department pulled over a vehicle due to its excessively dark window tint, they found that the driver, 35-year-old James Daniels, held a suspended license. The ensuing vehicle search revealed a loaded, stolen handgun hidden between the driver's seat and the center console.
Daniels is now facing charges including unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, carrying a firearm without a license, possessing ammunition without an FID card, and receiving stolen property above $1,200.
