
On October 5, Michael Aaron Galli was apprehended by the Petaluma Police Department. Galli, a 34-year-old Claremont resident, faced multiple charges. Those included carrying a loaded firearm in public and being a felon in possession of a firearm according to the Petaluma Police Department.
Late at night around 3:33 AM, police captured Galli while walking on Petaluma Boulevard North. His luck worsened after a search of his belongings revealed a loaded .38-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun, 27 additional rounds of ammunition, a Billy club, suspected methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
Galli held a prior Sonoma County arrest warrant and a probation term with a search and seizure clause.
The authorities transported him to Sonoma County's Main Adult Detention Facility after they found these violations, which included possession of a firearm, a baton, and a controlled substance.
