Yesterday, October 9, the harrowing sound of gunfire rang through Chicago's 9300 block of S. Halsted, resulting in the tragic loss of a 46-year-old woman.
A 17-year-old male victim also suffered a gunshot wound to his left arm and is now in good condition at Christ Hospital, according to the Chicago Police Department's report.
The offender has not yet been identified. Area Two Detectives are investigating.
