A Dorchester man, Theodore Gamble Williams, was sentenced for his role in drug and human trafficking crimes, serving five years in prison for trafficking a person for sexual servitude and trafficking cocaine over 36 grams. District Attorney Marian Ryan highlights these cases as critical to raise awareness and hold wrongdoers accountable according to the press release.

The case was brought to light through an undercover police investigation, initiated on the seemingly innocent website "Skip the Games". An undercover officer coordinated a meeting through the site to expose the sordid truth behind the ads.

The consequences of the investigation revealed a 23-year-old female victim, coerced into prostitution by Williams and another man. She was habitually transported to various locations and received scanty, if any, compensation.

The arresting officers discovered Williams and his cohort inside a van, registered in Williams' name. They were found with nearly 100 grams of cocaine and about $25,000 in cash.

These offenses were tackled with the unified efforts of various organizations, including the Middlesex District Attorney's Office, the Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force, the FBI Crimes against Children and Human Trafficking Task Force, and Woburn Police.
