Yesterday, October 9, two men were fatally shot in a South Ashland convenience store around 2:35 p.m., as confirmed by the Chicago Police Department.
A confrontation between the 28-year-old assailant and an unidentified male victim escalated quickly, resulting in gunfire.
Following the incident, both victims were swiftly transported to University of Chicago Hospital where doctors declared them deceased.
Area One Detectives have launched an investigation into the incident.
