Yesterday, a 37-year-old woman was fatally shot on South Narragansett in Chicago, the Chicago Police Department reports.
The woman was approached by a male in a dark-colored SUV, who fired multiple shots, resulting in ten gunshot wounds. Despite emergency efforts to save her life, she died from her injuries at Christ Hospital.
At this time, no suspect has been apprehended and the investigation by Area One detectives is ongoing.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
