Early this morning in South Lowe, a gruesome scene was discovered in the 7600 block where a 25-year-old man was wounded from gunfire.
The victim had sustained severe gunshot wounds to his left arm and chest, as stated by the Chicago Police Department.
A female witness reported seeing a known male suspect hastily leaving to the scene after the shooting.
The victim, critically injured, was transported to the U of C Hospital. Currently, no suspect is in custody, however detectives from Area Two are actively investigating the incidence.
