
Last night, a 45-year-old Holyoke man in Massachusetts suffered serious injuries after crashing into a tree in Somers, Connecticut. The Connecticut State Police reported that the accident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Springfield and Hampden Roads, as stated in CT Insider news report.
They said they found that the 45-year-old driver from Holyoke, MA had struck a tree. He suffered from serious life-threatening injuries, according to WFSB.
For the investigation procedure, the authorities shut down the intersection of Springfield and Hampden Roads for almost four hours. During this time, it was also found that a 20-feet guard rail had been damaged in the accident, as indicated by WWLP. Despite these findings, the exact cause of the accident remains undetermined.
