Today, the Worcester District Attorney's Office, Massachusetts State Police, and Gardner Police reported the discovery of a vehicle belonging to homicide suspect Aaron Pennington. The vehicle—an abandoned BMW—was found in the secluded region of Camp Collier in Gardner, according to their statement.
A thorough search was carried out around the site by various law enforcement units, which included the STOP Team, MSP Troopers, MSP K9 Unit, and MSP Air Wing, according to Massachusetts State Police News. Despite their efforts, however, the suspect remained at large.
Given the likelihood that Pennington, a tall, blond man with blue eyes, is armed and troublesome, authorities remain on high alert. If encountered, the public is strongly advised not to approach him but to contact 911 immediately.
