Catherine Hansen, 45, of Enfield, Connecticut, was arrested yesterday for multiple charges including driving under the influence and unlicensed possession of a firearm and ammunition, after involving in a car crash according to the Massachussets State Police. Officers found a loaded .45 caliber pistol, firearm parts, numerous magazines, and hundreds of rounds of various style ammunition in her vehicle.
The crash led to multiple innocent individuals being transported to area hospitals for treatment.
Following her arrest, Hansen is due to appear at the Westfield District Court to face her charges. These include driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, improper storage of a firearm, refusal to identify herself to police, and marked lanes violation.
