In response to the shooting incident, several local schools, including the Farley Building, Fuller Middle School, and McCarthy Elementary School, implemented a stay-in-place order, Superintendent of Schools Robert Tremblay confirmed via MetroWest Daily News. The cautionary measure was lifted when law enforcement deemed to resolve the situation near the Massachusetts Bay Community College parking lot.
