The City of Long Beach announced that its upcoming eighth monthly donation drive-thru event will be on October 21. The purpose of the event is to gather essential items for distribution to people experiencing homelessness via the Multi-Service Center (MSC) and local partner organizations.
The official press release of the City of Long Beach cites that the city is requesting donations from hygiene kits to food and cold-weather clothing.
Since the City launched donation drives in February, community members have donated more than 26,000 items.
