Yesterday, Pedro Antonio Tellez, a Los Angeles county resident was charged with eight felonies related to lewd acts on children under the age of 14. These filed charges came to light following allegations made by two victims' parents against Tellez in the City of Glendale, as per the City of Glendale News. The accusations were met with a plea of not guilty by Tellez. A case investigation by Glendale Police Department Detectives is underway, seeking more potential victims dating back to 2018. Then, Tellez was under suspicion for similar accusations, yet charges were not pursued due to lack of evidence.
An active role in the investigation is being taken by not only the Glendale Police Department, but also Glendale Unified School District and the City of Glendale , as stated, by Hoodline. Currently, Tellez is on administrative leave from both the school district and city as investigations continue.
