Yesterday, a 22-year-old man from Lynn, Massachusetts, Juan Ramos, pled guilty to drug charges in a federal court hearing in Boston. Ramos's arrest followed the discovery of an apartment being used for drug distribution, indicating ongoing drug-related issues in Boston communities.
The Department of Justice reports that Ramos, also known as "Bebo", had fraudulently rented the apartment under a fake name and was initially charged in May 2023.
Law enforcement, upon raiding the apartment on May 2, 2023, recovered around 500 grams of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine. Ramos attempted to avoid arrest but was quickly captured, ironically wearing a GPS bracelet ordered by the court due to an unrelated domestic violence offense.
