A man was injured in a stabbing incident in the Lake View neighborhood late Thursday night, as detailed by the Chicago Sun-Times. The victim, a 32-year-old man, was engaged in an argument on the 800 block of West Addison Street when the other individual attacked him with a sharp object.
The incident took place just before midnight on Thursday. The victim was quickly taken to the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center for treatment of his wound. Despite the grim nature of the incident, the hospital reported his condition as good.
The attacker managed to escape from the scene and is currently at large.
The attack took place near a Chicago police station, according to CBS Chicago. Area 3 detectives are now conducting an investigation.
