On October 23, 51-year-old Manchester resident, Leroy Simond II, was arrested for the possession and distribution of thousands of child sexual abuse imagery.
This was achieved due to a combined effort by the Manchester and Concord Police Departments. Simond was eventually formally charged with 20 counts related to the possession and distribution of child exploitation imagery .
The investigation began in late September following Concord Police receiving information related to the suspect. As a result of a search warrant execution at Simond's residence, several of his electronic devices were seized, as per Manchester Police Department's Facebook post.
