Collin Farrell, a 20-year-old from Westwood, Massachusetts, was apprehended on Saturday morning on charges of suspected drunk driving. According to NBC Boston, he allegedly hit 127 mph on Interstate 95 in New Hampshire.
Reported by NECN, while travelling at nearly twice the posted speed limit of 65 mph, Farrell disregarded attempts by a New Hampshire State Police trooper to pull him for over. He continued heading south towards the Massachusetts border.
His journey was abruptly ended post the Hampton toll plaza. Apprehended by State Police, taken into custody, Farrell is now facing multiple charges including drunken driving and reckless operation. His court appearance is scheduled for Thursday, October 26th in Hampton District Court. As mentioned in an NBC Boston report, there is no clarity on whether Farrell has secured legal representation relative to his arrest.
