An arrest has finally been made in the unsolved 2016 homicide case involving David Bruce Goodwin in Conway, New Hampshire. Robert Dowling, 51 years old, from Haverhill, Massachusetts, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with Goodwin's death over seven years ago, as reported by the New Hampshire Department of Justice.
Goodwin suffered a fatal blunt force trauma to the head in an attack on May 15, 2016, at the Conway Valley Inn, where he lived. His death was ruled as a homicide by the authorities.
Even after seven years, the authorities had been tirelessly working to bring justice to the untimely death of Goodwin. The New Hampshire Cold Case Unit and the State Police Major Crime Unit have been dogged in solving this case.
Dowling was arrested in Massachusetts due to the collective efforts of these units, now stands accused as a fugitive from justice, without the granting of bail, awaiting his arraignment in Essex County Superior Court. Post his court appearance, the process of extradition to New Hampshire will commence.
