A shooting incident occurred last night in a New Bedford neighborhood, one adult male reported as injured.
According to New Bedford Police Department facebook post, the incident occurred around 11 PM at the junction of Chancery St. and Middle St. Following a ShotSpotter alert, police units responded to the scene.
The victim was promptly transported to the hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
