The combined effort of law enforcement agencies in Massachusetts resulted in the arrest of 46 individuals associated with diverse criminal activities in Lawrence. Known as Operation Jack-O-Lantern, this joint operation encompassed the Massachusetts State Police, Lawrence Police Department, Massachusetts Environmental Police, and Essex County Sheriff's Department.
Through out the course of the operation, the police maintained their vigilance, issuing criminal summons to an additional eight individuals and seizing three dirt bikes, two stolen motor vehicles. A total of 314 citations to for various traffic violations were handed out.
The operation brought together multiple units from the Massachusetts State Police, including Troop A's patrols and Community Action Team, the Gang Unit, the Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, and the Air Wing, the latter providing crucial aerial support.
