Three beloved family dogs were tragically killed by a frenzied swarm of bees in Palmdale, California.
According to Fox LA, Sansa, Khalessi, and Pancake fell victim to the unrelenting bee attack, while Drogo, another family dog, narrowly escaped with his life.
ABC7 interviewed Rebecka Lopez, a member of the family, who says she believes the attack included many thousands of stingers. The horrifying detail of a vet removing 900 individual stingers from Pancake's ears alone provides a glimpse into the scale of the assault.
Despite efforts, Sansa and Khalessi did not survive – one passed away at the clinic and the other at home.
