An accident on Sunday, October 8, in Peabody, Massachusetts, resulted in a pedestrian being severely injured.
The incident occurred on Summit Street near Christine Drive. CBS News reports that the victim was promptly transferred to Salem Hospital.
The victim was identified as possibly in his 60s, according to Boston 25 News. The driver in question stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the current investigation.
The Peabody and State Police are investigating the incident.
