
Today, San Diego's Harbor View neighborhood hosted a pop-up resource fair organized by the County's Homeless Solutions and Equitable Communities team. The event brought together multiple stakeholders to connect the homeless population with crucial services facilitating secure, permanent housing, according to the County of San Diego.

The pop-up fair catered to a variety of needs, such as enrolling individuals for CalWorks, Medi-Cal, and EBT cards, to include them in case management. Partner entities, including People Assisting the Homeless (PATH), San Diego County Sheriff’s Homeless Assistance Resource Team (HART), Harbor Police, and County Public Health Nurses, carried the event’s mission to fruition.
The pop-up fairs also offer insight into energetic communal efforts in tackling homelessness, providing tangible aid to improve lives. These events are bridges towards social inclusivity, fostering operational cohesion against homelessness and addressing this issue's underlying reasons.
