In Holyoke, Massachusetts, authorities are tirelessly searching for the third suspect implicated in the recent fatal shooting of a pregnant woman's unborn child. The third suspect, identified as Kermith Alvarez, aged 28 from Holyoke, is yet to be located. The public is urged to lend assistance in tracking him down. The firearm involved in the incident hasn't been found, thus Alvarez is considered armed and dangerous, according to an NBC Boston report.
Johnluis Sanchez, 30, and Alejandro Ramos, 22, have already been arrested and are held without bail on charges of murder as reported by MassLive. The fatal shooting unfolded at the intersection of Sargeant Street and Maple Street where a pregnant bystander was caught in the crossfire while on a bus around 12:30 p.m. on October 4. Efforts were exerted by medical experts to save the unborn child, named Ezekiel, but to no avail.
"We weren't ready for this," shared Santana, the baby's father. "We were looking forward to our baby. I haven't even had the chance to see my son Ezekiel," as reported by NBC Boston.
While law enforcement actively pursues Alvarez, they call for public vigilance due to his potential danger and urge anyone with information on his location to come forward, as reported by WCVB.
