A Solano County Sheriff's Office Patrol Team was alerted to look out for an armed vehicle on I-80. The vehicle was reported to have passengers flashing guns at other vehicles and reportedly firing shots.

A deputy from Team 2, began to trail the vehicle on the freeway. In Fairfield, the officer executed a traffic stop and found four loaded guns in the vehicle's search, three of them were unserialized, known as ghost guns. Seven individuals were consequently arrested.

Charges stemmed from an incident initially outside of Solano County's jurisdiction and were made possible through collaborative efforts with other law enforcement bodies. As a result, potential threats to the community's safety were effectively neutralized.
