On October 8, a routine traffic accident in Solano County took a dangerous turn when a resident reported a multi-vehicle crash with a potentially armed individual on Peabody Road. The account, documented in a social media post by the Fairfield Police Department, detailed officers' prompt arrival at roughly 3:53 p.m. and the discovery of a suspect reportedly carrying a firearm.
The police aptly identified and detained Terrence Johnson, 30, the alleged gun owner. According to the same social media post, a search of Johnson's vehicle uncovered a loaded handgun. Consequently, Johnson was incarcerated in Solano County Jail on weapons-related charges.
