Yesterday, a Danville officer observed a suspicious person cycling in a residential area. Despite being instructed to stop, the individual fled, disappearing into a creek bed.
Police officers followed the suspect as he weaved through numerous backyards. Thanks to alert residents, the officers managed to quickly locate and apprehend him. The detained suspect had a pre-existing warrant and was carrying methamphetamine. He is now housed in the Martinez Detention Facility, per the Danville Police Department.
