
Local investigators have deemed a recent fire in a vacant commercial building in Groton, Massachusetts as suspicious, soliciting public assistance. The fire occurred in a large, often-vandalized property on 500 Main St., as confirmed by a press release from Massachusetts state officials. The large size of the building could to have posed a severe safety threat to the town's firefighters.
A reward of up to $5,000 is offered through the Arson Watch Reward Program's hotline (1-800-682-9229) for information leading to the resolution of such crimes. State Fire Marshal Davine urged sharing of information related to the fire, stating the serious risk arson acts pose to people
