Earlier today, a 14-year-old boy was seriously injured during a basketball game in Danville, Illinois. The teenager was critically wounded with a shot to the back of his head, in an incident that happened on the 1600 block of Clyman Lane, Fox Illinois disclosed.
As per reports, officers from the Danville Police Department arrived at the scene at 7:30 a.m. Despite his injury, the boy was conscious, informed the officers he had heard multiple gunshots before being hit. The boy's account was supported by the witnesses present at the incident, as documented by WAND TV. Investigation into the incident is in progress, with no suspects currently identified.
