Jaylen Burns, a 21-year-old Jackson State University student, was tragically killed in a shooting at the University Pointe Apartment Complex on Sunday night. The news has left his family and the university's community in shock.
Highly respected, Burns was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and president of the C100 chapter at Jackson State University, an arm of the 100 Black Men of America, according to Chicago Sun-Times.
