
Earlier today, a pickup truck crashed into a TD Bank branch in Yarmouth, Massachusetts, injuring four people. Witnesses report the truck struck a median, becoming airborne before hitting the bank on Route 28 according to NBC Boston.
After hitting the median, the truck struck a sign, debris falling on a bystander to. The vehicle then collided with two parked cars, finally smashing through a bank's brick wall according to Cape Cod Times. Six people were inside the bank at the time.
Fortunately, no one received serious injuries. The four injured people, comprising the driver, a bystander, and two bank employees, appeared to sustain minor injuries and were treated at Cape Cod Hospital. An off-duty firefighter on the scene managed to deactivate the vehicle by breaking one of its windows and remove the driver as reported by NBC Boston.
A medical condition may to have contributed to the accident, according to CBS Boston news, and Lieutenant Corey Kittila of the Yarmouth Fire Department. Authorities continue their investigation into this incident.
