
On Monday, October 16, a grim situation transpired when two women were discovered with gunshot wounds in a vehicle on the 1700 block of Karameos Drive in Sunnyvale, California. Authorities have now identified the alleged shooter, Marvin Churchill, who was found dead in Cupertino, per the updated post of the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (DPS).

Following a distress call around 5:28 a.m., the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to administer life-saving measures to the victims quickly. Despite their efforts, one woman died at the scene, while the other received treatment at a local hospital.
A high-speed police chase led to the discovery of Churchill's vehicle with him dead inside, around the 17000 block of Stevens Canyon Road, according to Hoodline.
Hoodline's preliminary investigation report suggests that Churchill and the two victims knew each other. Further details of their relationship are yet to be released, but authorities have assured the community there is no ongoing threat with no additional suspects involved.
