Yesterday, Suffolk District Attorney Kevin Hayden publicized his case file and final findings of the June 26, 2021, officer-involved shooting of Nathan Allen, 28, in Winthrop.
The tragedy transpired at the intersection of Shirley and Cross streets as part of a racially driven shockwave perpetrated by Allen according to Suffolk District Attorney.
The findings deemed the officer's conduct, which possibly averted a greater calamity, as both lawful and reasonable.
Hence, no charges were applicable.
