Earlier today, an officer arrested a man on charges of reckless driving and cocaine trafficking. The arrest happened near Southbridge Street in Worcester, according to the Worcester Police Department's Facebook post.
The officer reportedly noticed Juan Kevelier, 47, driving dangerously fast in a black SUV. Kevelier turned hastily on Southbridge Street, disregarding traffic rules such as slowing down at a stop sign on Jackson Street. The officer pursued and arrested Kevelier on Main Street, per Worcester Police Department.
Officers discovered a large quantity of suspected cocaine in Kevelier's vehicle during the arrest. He is now facing charges of Operating to Endanger, additional traffic-related offenses, and Trafficking in Cocaine (100-199 grams).
