
On September 30th, Worcester Police Department officers responded to a reported motor vehicle crash on Winthrop St , as stated on their Facebook post. On reaching, officers identified a male driver involved in the crash as twenty-five-year-old Jarret Warner of Derby St.
During investigation, officers found a handgun, to carry which Mr. Warner lacked the requisite license, on the driver's side floorboard of Warner's vehicle near the brakes. This led to Warner's arrest on various charges related to the unauthorized possession of the firearm and its improper storage.
As per the Worcester Police Department post, charges leveled against Warner include Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, and Improper Storage of a Firearm.
