The Worcester Police Department reported an incident on the morning of October 14th, where a firearm altercation occurred between two individuals and the driver of a stolen Kia SUV.
The driver allegedly threatened the witnesses with a handgun, stemming from a verbal dispute on a parked vehicle. As a result, a sixteen-year-old male was arrested on charges of Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle and two counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon according to Worcester Police Department.
While investigating, officers found ties to a previous report concerning another stolen Kia SUV from Roxbury St. This led Worcester Police detectives to secure a search warrant for a locale on South Harlem St. During the execution of the warrant on October 20th, the sixteen-year-old suspect was apprehended and a Taser was found in possession of another individual named Pharrel Smith, 19, who was subsequently arrested for Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card.
