
An 11-year-old girl is critically injured after a shooting incident at West 68th Place yesterday, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The incident happened at approximately 3:53 p.m. within a residence on the 2000 block of West 68th Place.
The unknown perpetrator fired shots from outside the home, striking the girl inside. She has been transported to Comer Children's Hospital for vital medical treatment.
The investigation into this crime is ongoing, with authorities having questioned two individuals and retrieving a weapon from the scene.
